The last departmental promotional examination for the Postman post, held on 20.11.2011, may promote 11 GDS officials of our division to the Postman cadre. The vacancy for this exam.has already been published by the department. The vacancy in details :-
Departmental Quota : 6 , Outsider Quota : 5 . Total = 11 .
Break Up :-
Seniority Quota : 3 ( OC - 2, ST - 1 ) = 3 .
Merit Quota : 8 (OC -4, OBC -2, SC - 1, ST -1 ) = 8 .
We are expecting the result very soon. But,the administration also have the responsibility to publish result without any error. Otherwise,it will be again painful for many GDS employees like the previous incidents. Let's hope for the best.
