When the task of delivering of the ''AADHAR'' card was entrusted with us, our General Secretary was hopeful that, it may help us to earn the status of departmental employees for our G.D.S staff ! Till date, no such movement has been observed at any end.
But, one thing for sure, it is becoming a matter of increasing trouble for us. Yes, the process of delivery of the 'AADAHAR CARD'. We receive thousands and thousands of 'AADHAR CARDS' daily at our various offices for delivery. Some envelopes have insufficient address. Postmen are facing several problems at the time of delivering. But, the administration is not in a mood to hear the woes related with it's delivery.
TODAY, TWO OFFICIALS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED ON THE SPOT, AT BIDON STREET POST OFFICE UNDER NORTH KOLKATA DIVISION BY THE DIVISIONAL SUPER, ON THE CHARGE THAT THOSE OFFICIALS WERE UNABLE TO PREPARE THE DELIVERY SLIP FOR THE TOTAL RECEIVED 7000 AADHAR CARDS ON A SINGLE DAY !
This is not a good sign for us. Through this post, we are strongly protesting against this kind of injustice by the divisional administration and demanding immediate intervention of our Circle Unions to reinstate those victim officials without any delay.
Or else this incident in North Kolkata may well be the precursor of many more horrors in the coming days in other divisions throughout the country. Like our members, our administrative officers also must realize the ground reality and the practical scenario. They have to maintain peace at work place. So, we are requesting our Circle Secretary to take immediate necessary steps towards its settlement, before its too late !
