The day of January 28, 2012, Sri Panchami & Saraswati Puja, was declared initially a working day in the holiday list published from the West Bengal Circle Office for this Circle for 2012. As this Puja is widely celebrated, the Regional Council of JCM wrote a letter to the Circle Head few days back and also talked to the C.O.
The C.O. has released yesterday an order declaring 28th January 2012 a holiday instead of 10th August 2012, Janmasthami.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ORDER WILL NOT BE EFFECTED IN ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES (C.O. / R.O./ DIVL OFFICES), ANDAMANS AND THE STATE OF SIKKIM. In these areas, 28.01.12 will remain as usual day as Saturday and 10.8.2012 a holiday.
