A very happy and prosperous New Year
to all of you! Our new year post in last year ,“Where are you Nostradamus? It’s
again a New Year! Yes, it is the year 2012. Happy New Year to all!”, where we mentioned
the so called fear of the ending of world
and the segregation of the postal department as well its privatization. It will
jeopardize our job security and therefore, we called for the united protest and
campaign to save our department.
However, 2012 didn't see the end of
the world and the attempts of the government to fragment the Department of
Posts and transfer it to the private hands seemed to be in vain also. Our
movements and your response to our call to remain united have made it possible
to make it to this day, where we still remain as Departments of Posts, Government
of India ,proving Nostradamus wrong!
Our historic strike on 28.02.2012
& 12.12.2012 has remained a success with all your support and goodwill.
2013 which comprises of “unlucky 13” needs all our hard work and united
protests to save our department. It is a promise that,“United we stand, divided
we fall”. And our combined attempts will make this year a “lucky 13”.
Our job security and our department’s
future should be secured with all our united movements and attempts to make it
a better one. Let’s make this new year really successful by using the age old proverb “If
there is a will, there is a way.”

1. IMMEDIATE RE - FIXATION OF TRCA FOR THE GDS EMPLOYEES APPOINTED ON OR AFTER 01.01.2006.
2. TOTAL COMPUTERIZATION OF ALL THE S.O.'s OF OUR DIVISION TO PROVIDE BEST SERVICE TO THE MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC.
3. STRONG MOVEMENT TO FILL UP ALL THE VACANT GDS POSTS THROUGH OUT THE DIVISION.
4. CLOSE CONTACTS WITH OUR EVERY MEMBERS TO MAKE IT A REAL HAPPY FAMILY.
5. ALL OUT EFFORTS TO EARN MORE REVENUE FOR OUR DEPARTMENT.
